The TV station finally posted the video of the show I was on:

http://cbs5.com/video/?id=18333@kpix.dayport.com

You have to watch the commercial, and then wait for the whole thing to buffer, and then move the slider ahead about 4/5 of the way through the show to see my unexciting little segment.

I know I was nervous just when I was doing a public radio interview. I can imagine if I were doing TV. I'm glad it went well, and hopefully next time, it'll be a bit more substantial of an appearance. Perhaps it was a good way of breaking you in: all the prep work for TV, with just a tiny opportunity for something to go disastrously wrong. ;)

Brian: Thanks for asking. The interview was fine, but extremely short; I was on the air for maybe a minute total, and spoke about three sentences. (I was on toward the end, and some of the earlier stuff ran a bit long, so they had to shorten my piece.) I keep thinking the station will post the video on their Web site, but there's usually a lag of several days and it's not up yet.

Anyway, there really wasn't much to it, certainly not enough to justify how nervous I was about it! But it was nice to feel like I was helping out the cause in some small way.
